About Char Power

President & CEO

Rose Cheung is a successful multi-business entrepreneur, business manager and best-selling author with a dedicated passion for healthy living and environmental wellbeing. 

Her distinguished business career has spanned from working as a CPA and Chief Financial Officer in multiple US-based companies – managing 2,500+ people – to being the founder of a Los Angeles, US bank and businesses in real estate development and construction, health care, and renewable energy. Currently based in Austin, Texas, she expanded her global reach in 2023, establishing a second residence and office in Dubai.

In 2020-2021, Rose launched her first solar energy project in New Jersey and is currently producing power to 200+ homes. At the same time, she and her daughter Genevieve Wong wrote and published the best-selling book Healing Herbal Soups and launched www.healingherbalsoups.com. Healing Herbal Soups serves as a guide to traditional Chinese Medicine principles and herbal soup recipes – demystifying herbal medicine, and making it a normal, useful tool for everyone to use on a regular basis. 

Inspired by her ongoing commitment to environmental wellbeing, today Rose is immersed in her latest ventures – CarbonCTrade and Char Power. Conceived and founded by Rose, CarbonCTrade is a global endeavor to empower individuals, as well as governments and companies with the knowledge, resources and support to make a more meaningful impact and realize greater rewards from their eco-friendly activities. Char Power is Rose’s initiative to help countries eliminate unnecessary waste and pollution while providing a highly-beneficial biochar byproduct. 

In addition to overseeing CarbonCTrade and Char Power operations, Rose currently travels the world engaging with local, regional and national government, business, and community leaders, as well as environmental experts sharing insights and promoting CarbonCTrade’s and Char Power’s Programs and Eco-Enhancement Initiatives.

Biochar Researcher, PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Biofuels, and CEO of ARTi International, where he developed and patented a pyrolysis technology in which, through the thermal decomposition of organic waste at high temperatures and in the absence or limitation of oxygen, it produces Biochar or Bio-charcoal.
